| My name is Genie and I am a WAHM to 4 children. I first used cloth nappies 15 years ago. Back then I used flannel flats and snibs or pins and a pilcher. I soaked them in a bucket of Napi-San and flushed disposable liners down the toilet several times a day, wasting precious water. I chose to use them because I wanted to be environmentaly aware. Little did I know, that I was actually contributing to the hole in the ozone layer by using chemicals, and wasting water by flushing the toilet so many times a day.

| Fast forward to September 2005, when my little boy was born. I wanted to use cloth, but decided it would be too hard with so many children. A friend had given me a HUGE bag of clothes for him and in it were 3 fitted cloth nappies. I had never seen anything like it before, but put it away for just in case I ran out of sposies at midnight.

| When he was 2 months old we discovered that he was very allergic to the chemicals they use in disposibles, which made his skin react so badly it burnt off. So, out came those 3 fitted nappies I was given. I then did an ebay search for more knowing that 3 wouldn't cut it.

| I saw fitted nappies, but they were modern cloth and made by work at home mums. They were also made from hemp which really caught my interest. So I bought 2 to try and it was an instant addiction. I LOVE modern cloth nappies.

| I was directed to the community of other cloth lovers and learned all I needed to know to be able to come up with my own design.
So now we have WriggleyBumz!!!
